Salestrekker 2.0 provides a variety of template building options.

In Settings users can create templates for:

  • Tasks

  • Checklists

  • Documents

  • Required documents group

  • Required document

  • External notifications

  • Notes

In each sub-section of the Templates settings page, there is an option to see active and archived templates and an 'Add new' button which is used to add a new template.

When you click on the 'Actions' button, a menu will appear for each of the templates you have created. From there, you can select options to edit, add or remove labels, or archive the template.


Task

Adding new task templates is performed by clicking on 'Add new' button.

For the new task template, we will need the following information: name, priority, and due time. Additionally, you have the option to include a brief comment, label the task template, and add as many sub-tasks as needed.

To finalise, click 'Save'.


Checklist

Checklist templates are used to group multiple tasks templates under one checklist.

Creating a new checklist template is performed by clicking on 'Add new' button.

Users need to enter checklist name, comments, labels and then select which previously created task templates should be included in this new checklist.

To finalise, click 'Save'.


Document

You can add document templates by either dragging and dropping them into the 'add document' box or by clicking it to browse through your folders and selecting which document(s) to upload.

Once selected click 'Upload'.

To access and grab merge fields that you can use to build your document template, click on the 'Merge fields' button.

In the right slide-out menu, pick for which Entity and Category you wish to grab the merge for. Click on the item on the list to copy it to clipboard and then paste in the document template you are building.


Required document group

The purpose of required document groups is to combine several required document templates into a single group.

Click 'Add new' button to create a new group, name your new group template, set the due time, you can also write a brief comment on it, label it and lastly, pick all the required document templates to be included in this new group.

To confirm, click 'Save' button.


Required document

On this page, you can create a single required document template that can be added to a group template or sent as a request to clients.

Adding new required document template is performed by clicking on 'Add new' button.

Then enter name, due time, comments and labels.

To finalise, click 'Save'.


External notification

Users can create an email/SMS template that can be further used to send either directly to contacts or via marketing.

To add a new external notification template click on 'Add new' button.

Enter notification name, choose type (transactional or marketing), notification subject, CC or BCC email address, labels and content of the message.

To finalise, click 'Save'.


Note

Note templates are designed to save time when completing compliance commentary.

To add a new note template click on 'Add new' button.

Enter note name, description/content, choose type of the deals this note will show in and add labels.

To finalise, click 'Save'.
