How to use Equifax integration in Salestrekker 2.0

How to set up

I M P O R T A N T

Activating the integration with the username and password you use to log into your Equifax portal WILL NOT WORK.

If you've added these credentials, you will get the 'Policy Falsified' error when doing a credit check.

We require a different set of login details (username and password) for use in Salestrekker.

Kindly contact your aggregator for assistance with obtaining these details.


Once you have your username and password for Equifax, you can add them in Settings > 3rd Party Integrations > Equifax.

When you turn the Equifax toggle to "ON", in the right hand side window you need to add your credentials: username and password.

Once these credentials are added, press "Save" to confirm and connect the integration.


How to use

Requesting credit score can be done from any Home Loan or Asset Finance deal, Client Profile section.

Press the Equifax button and choose one of the following options:

  • OneScore

  • Comprehensive Score or

  • Negative score

The available credit report options depend on your aggregator's enterprise settings.

If you only see one type of report, such as 'OneScore', and would like to have access to the 'Comprehensive Score' option, please contact your aggregator to make the request.


Fill in the required data, then press "Save" button.



Credit score will be generated and the PDF report saved in Deal Files tab.



How to download previously created report?

For downloading previously created report, press the Equifax button again, and then click on the "Download previous PDF" button.
