User with admin permissions can create notification templates. These templates are used for direct from deal sending and for workflow automation sending (i.e. sending E-mail / SMS to a client when deal changes stage).

To create notification templates:

  1. Go to Settings > External Notifications

  2. Press '+ADD NEW'

  3. Choose type, E-mail or SMS (E-mail will be selected by default, to change it to SMS: tick the SMS checkbox and then untick the E-mail checkbox)

  4. Insert template name and content

  5. Press 'Save' button when done

Use 'Insert value' options to personalize messages (via merge keys that will populate details from deal, i.e. client name, lender, value etc.)

When your templates are created you can setup their automation or pull them when sending email / SMS messages directly from deals.

Note: You need to have enabled SMS usage (Settings > Connect) if you want to send SMS to clients and available SMS credits.

Any existing template can be duplicated, archived or deleted by checkbox selection (1) then choosing the options from the 'Actions' button (2).

Email notifications can be labeled to add document templates as email attachments via automation sending.

Please note that one SMS has a limit of 160 characters. If SMS notification is created to have text over that limit, this will use two or more of your SMS credits (depending on the size of the message).

You can check the character length of your messages for free here.
