Salestrekker integrates with Outlook 365/Outlook.com offering email sync (from Outlook to Salestrekker), contact sync (from Salestrekker to Outlook) and task sync (from Salestrekker to Outlook). Note this integration does not apply to Microsoft Exchange users.
Outlook 365/Outlook.com users can integrate one or all of these features in Settings > 3rd party integration screen:
Switch on the desired integration and select which account you wish to link in Microsoft window.
Using Outlook Mail sync
Outlook mail sync will recognise emails sent from client's email address to the user with Outlook Mail integration switched on.
Email will sync with contact, where it can be added to the deal using '+' option on email record:
Once linked to a deal, it will appear in deal notes:
Using Outlook contact sync
Once integrated all Salestrekker contacts related to the Outlook user will automatically sync with Outlook. Note that this is not selective, i.e. all contacts will sync.
Contacts from Outlook do not sync back to Salestrekker.
Using Outlook task integration
Once a task is created in Salestrekker, and task integration is on, task related to Outlook account will appear in Outlook tasks.
Once a task is closed in Salestrekker, it will be automatically closed in Outlook. Unfortunately, Outlook does not support reverse - closing tasks in Outlook will not close them in Salestrekker.
