What is Honey?

Honey Insurance is a new insurance provider offering clients the option for smarter home insurance to help prevent avoidable accidents. Rather than waiting for things to go wrong, customers can choose to receive complimentary smart home sensors with a home and contents policy.

These sensors can help detect and prevent many of the common mishaps that lead to claims, like fire, water leaks, and theft. Honey also uses satellite data to take the guesstimating out of choosing proper coverage – and to get customers covered in three minutes flat.

Here are some helpful ‘how tos’

Activate Honey and refer

To active Honey insurance, you will need to go to your Settings> 3rd Party application> Personal integrations with 3rd party diversification partners and turn the toggle on regarding Honey (screenshot 1).

(1)

Honey insurance is available to Home Loans application only and you will be able to find it in the Needs & Objectives tab (screenshot 2) and the Diversification opportunity tab (screenshot 3)

Please note that Honey will only be triggered if the "Client wants to hear more" field is selected under Needs and Objectives tab> Insurance section. That referral will be sent only once the deal passes in Approved status.

(2)

(3)

Important note: The deal has to be populated completely, the product has to be chosen in order for you to initiate Honey Insurance. If that is not the case, the following error will occur (screenshot 4)

(4)

After the deal is completely populated, you will be able to refer your client to Honey. Once you choose Honey, a pop out window will appear, at the center of your screen and you will be able to select Security and Insured person and additional fields as well (screenshot 5).

(5)

Also you will be able to add Additional insured person(s) in case you have multiple clients in your application, but Insured person has to be selected first (screenshot 6 and 7).

(6)

(7)

Once done with populating mandatory fields, "Refer application" option will be green and you will be able to complete the referral (screenshot 8). After that, go back to your deal view where you will see a note created, stating that application has been successfully submitted (screenshot 9).
