How to log in and out of your Salestrekker 2.0 account

When logging in, you will be asked to enter your email and password.

Once your login credentials are entered, click on the "Sign in" button.

Please ensure that the email address and password you are entering are accurate for your Salestrekker account.


Two factor authentication

For security purposes, we have implemented a two-factor authentication process as a standard part of the login procedure. Whenever you attempt to access your account (after entering your email and password), you will also be required to enter a 2FA code.

2FA via SMS

Please be aware that this login option is not as secure and we highly recommend that users utilise the 2FA via Token login method.

All new accounts will automatically have this two-factor authentication option for their login.

The login code will be delivered to your account's mobile number as an SMS message and also to your account's email address.

As the code is being sent, you will see a blue line at the top of your screen indicating the countdown until delivery (1).

Once you receive the code, please enter it into the Verification code field (2).

The final step is to Verify the code (3).

If you did not manage to enter the code before the countdown reaches 60 seconds, you can ask for a new code (4).

If you do not enter the code within 120 seconds, the login page will redirect you to the initial login via email and password. This will allow you to start the process over again.

2FA via Token

To enhance login security, we will prompt users to utilise a more secure login method using a token generated through an authentication app that must be installed on their device beforehand.

Users who have not yet enabled the more secure login method will, upon logging back in, be auto directed to their Account Settings, specifically the Password and Security tab, in order to switch to the 2FA via token login method.

Before moving forward, please download and install an authenticator app on your device.

Recommended apps:

When you click on the 'Switch to 2FA via Token' button, a slide-out window will appear on the right side of your screen. This window will display a QR code that you can scan using your authenticator app to link your Salestrekker 2.0 account.

You will now be able to view your Salestrekker 2.0 account in the app, along with the code that you need to enter into the 'Verification code' field.

To confirm, click 'Save' button.

You will receive a confirmation email at your account email address once your 2FA through Token activation has been successfully completed. This email will also include a backup code in case your 2FA device is lost.

Now each time you log in, you will be prompted to enter the code generated by the authentication app linked to your Salestrekker 2.0 account.

PLEASE NOTE: If you reach a maximum of 5 unsuccessful backup code login attempts, your account will be locked.

Lost 2FA device

If you've lost the device where the authenticator app was set up, you can use the backup code that was emailed to your account when you initially enabled the '2FA via Token' process.

To access your account using this method, click the 'Lost your 2FA device?' choice on the login screen.

Lastly, you will be prompted to enter the backup code and regain access to your account.

When you use the backup code to log in, the '2FA via Token' login option will be disabled. To use it again, you will need to go through the activation process once more.


Lost your 2FA Backup Code

If you are unable to locate your backup code, the final step to regain entry to your account is to select the 'Lost your 2FA Backup Code' option after choosing the 'Lost your 2FA device' option on the login page.

This will send an email to you containing a 2FA recovery code to use for login.

This 2FA recovery code will be valid for 3 minutes.

By inputting the recovery code on the login page, you will be able to regain entry to your account.

When you use the recovery code to log in, the '2FA via Token' login option will be disabled. To use it again, you will need to go through the activation process once more.


Signing out

To log out, just click on your Profile Picture in the bottom left corner. This will open a sub-menu where you can choose Sign out.
