Embedding a Webform on Your Website

Salestrekker allows you to generate a webform iframe that can be embedded directly into your website. Submissions made through the form automatically create new leads in Salestrekker, saving time and eliminating manual data entry.

1. Creating a webform

To generate a webform in Salestrekker:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations / Web form

  2. Click Add New

Webform configuration

In the setup dialog, you can configure the following:

  • Web form name (A)

  • Workflow and stage where the new lead will be created (B)

  • Deal owner (C)

  • Deal label (optional) (E)

  • Referrer (optional) (F)

  • Form colours (G)

Example:

Once configured click Save (I) to store the webform

You can create multiple webforms for the same organisation, workflow, or stage. For example, each broker can have their own landing page with leads assigned directly to them.

Managing webforms

All created webforms appear in the list under Web form. From here, you can:

  • Edit the webform

  • Delete the webform

The generated code is an iframe, which can be manually edited if needed (for example, to adjust the iframe height or width).

2. Embedding the webform on your website

The easiest option is to send the iframe code to your web developer.

If you manage your own website using a CMS such as WordPress, you can:

  1. Open the page where the form should appear

  2. Add a Custom HTML block

  3. Paste the iframe code and save

Once embedded, the webform will appear directly on your website.

3. What happens when a lead submits a form

When a form is submitted:

  • A new deal is automatically created in the selected workflow and stage

  • Client name, phone, email, and message are saved in the deal

  • The deal is assigned to the deal owner selected in the webform settings

Multiple webforms can be created to support different business streams, landing pages, or team members.

4. Maximising webform usage with automation

By combining webforms with workflow automation, you can:

  • Automatically send a welcome email to the lead

  • Send an SMS from the deal owner

  • Attach merged documents (e.g. Credit Guide, Privacy Disclosure)

  • Create and assign a follow-up task to a team member

Example automations

  • A welcome email with your Credit Guide and Privacy Disclosure attached

  • An SMS from the deal owner including a Calendly booking link

Note: Calendly is a third-party service and is not included with Salestrekker
