How to add a new or existing person/company in Salestrekker 2.0?

To add a new contact to your contact list, whether it's a person or a company, the process is quite simple.

Just navigate to the main Contacts page, select the person or company page (depending on which type of contact you want to add), and then click on the "Add new person/company" button located in the top left corner of the page.

You can then proceed to populate your new contact's general information, label them and populate any custom fields.

Don't forget to confirm your new entries with the "Save" button, located at the bottom of the page.


Add new person or company

A new person or company contact can also be easily created from any deal.

There are two ways to do this:

  • Adding a new contact when creating a new deal.

  • Adding a new contact from an existing deal.

Adding new contact from new deal

When starting a new deal, one of the main requirements will be adding the deal contacts.

You can create a new contact (person or company) right there on the new deal page.

Click the "Add new contact" button and pick "add new person" or "add new company".

Next, from the right slide out menu, populate your new contact's basic details.

To confirm, click the "Add" button.

Add new contact from existing deal

If you currently have a deal in progress and need to include a new contact, the most efficient method is to go to the deal overview page.

On the left side menu, click on the "Add contact" tab to expand. Then, choose either "add new person" or "add new company" from the list of options, depending on your needs.

Finally, fill in the basic information for your new contact in the right slide-out menu and click the "Add" button to confirm.


Add existing person or company

If you have an existing contact, person or company, and would like to add them quickly to deal, this can be achieved for both new and ongoing deals.

When generating a new deal, you have the option to retrieve contacts from your contact list in order to easily fill in their information for the new deal.

To do this, from the new deal page, click the "Add new contact" button.

Pick either "add existing person" or "add existing company", depending on which one you require.

Next, on the right slide-out menu, there is a search bar. Enter at least three letters of your existing contact's name and select the correct one from the displayed options.

Lastly, confirm with the "Add" button.

Add existing contact from existing deal

If you currently have a deal in progress and need to include an existing contact, the most efficient method is to go to the deal overview page.

Finally, search for your existing contact in the right slide-out menu search option, pick the correct one from the given results and click the "Add" button to confirm.
