Add Deals

How to create a new deal?

To start a new deal, navigate to a workflow under which you are looking to create the deal and click on the "Add new" button in top right corner.

The 'Add deal' page will display the following optoins:

A. Deal information - page where you enter the basic info about the new application:

  1. Deal type - drop down to select relevant broker tools for the new loan application (Home Loan, Asset Finance...)

  2. Contact details - section to create a new or load an existing contact (person/company)

  3. Deal information - section where you can:

    1. enter a name for your new deal

    2. pick the deal owner (main broker working the deal)

    3. select the lead source

    4. add deal team members (staff that will be working on the application with the main broker)

    5. assign a partner/referrer

    6. pick the starting stage (first stage in workflow by default)

    7. enter the estimated deal value

    8. enter the finance due date

    9. enter the estimated settlement date

    10. enter summary notes

B. Deal labels - page where you can add a deal label

C. Custom fields - page where you can complete any pre-set deal custom fields

The minimum necessary information will be marked in red. Failure to complete it will prevent the creation of a new deal.

After entering all the required and additional details for the new deal, simply click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to confirm its creation.


Add Contacts

How to create a new person or company contact?

How to load existing contact to a deal?

Contacts can be added either in Contacts tab or directly in the deal.

From Contacts Page

To add contacts from main Contacts page, first click on 'Contacts' button on the main left side menu.

Next, select if the contact will be a Person or a Company.

This will take you to the Contacts page, from where you click on the "Add new" button in top right corner.

From Existing Deal

To add a contact directly in an existing deal, click on 'Add contact' tab in the deal sidebar from where you will be able to choose whether the contact is an existing or a new contact and if the contact will be a person or a company.

For new contacts, complete all mandatory details in slide-out window and click 'Save' when done.

New contact added in the deal will be automatically added in Contacts tab as well.

Existing contacts are loaded using the search option (min 3 letters to initiate search).

How to create a new task?

How to create task from template?

There are few ways tasks can be created - on main tasks page, directly in a deal, through automation and it can be linked directly to a contact.

When setting up a new task, the following options are available:

a. Task name

b. Checkbox to choose a new task from template

c. Task due date

d. Task priority

e. 'Assigned to' field for selecting individuals who will be assigned to the task

f. Comment box for notes on task

h. Sub-tasks

i. Task repeat options

A task can have multiple people assigned to it.

Sub-tasks

Creating a sub-tasks list in a new or existing task is done with the 'Add new' button under the sub-task section.

There is no limit to how many sub-tasks can be created.

They can also be rearranged by the simple drag-and-drop method.

Repeat Options

Task repeat options offer the following repeat setup:

  • Repeat interval (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly... )

  • Number of repeats (based on selected interval)

  • Start date

  • End options (never, specific number of occurrences, specific date)

Some additional options will pop-up depending on the selected interval and repeat occurrence.

From Tasks Page

To create a new task from main 'Task page', click on 'Task' button on main left side menu to navigate to the tasks page.

Next, click on the 'Add new' button in top right corner.

From Existing Deal

To add a task directly in the deal, simply click on the 'Quick actions' button in top right corner and choose 'Add task' option.

From Existing Contact

If you would like to link a new task to a specific contact, you can do it from Contact View Quick Actions button, clicking the 'Add task' option.
