What partners see when logging to Partner Portal

Once added to Salestrekker, Partners will get an invitation email from the organization owner.  Once they log in to Partner Portal for the first time, they won't see any deal but will be able to add a new deal (if this option was enabled in Settings).

Partners with few deals shared with them might see a similar screen to this one:


Creating a new deal/lead

When adding a new deal, partners are required to add the contact's First and Last name, Phone number and Email address, and a few lines of summary notes to explain the deal background.

Partners can also select which broker they refer the deal to and can add deal labels for broker to create advanced reports with lead segmentation.

Partners can add more clients to the new deal/lead if required (orange '+ Add New Contact' button).

When after entering the required deal and client details, to complete creating the new deal/lead, the partner simply needs to confirm with the 'Save' button.

The new deal/lead will be automatically created in broker's account as well and will have the name of referral partner included.


Working in Partner Portal workflows and deals

To open an existing deal, the partner simply needs to click on the 'eye' icon located on the deal tile:

Deal information available to partners:

  • Left hand side section:

    • Deal name

    • Broker

    • Deal labels

    • Deal creation date

    • Client names and their contact details (phone number and email)

  • Central section:

    • Notes or comment exchanges between the broker and partner

  • Right hand side section:

    • Uploaded and shared documents

  • Top section:

    • Deal progression through stages

If the partner is added to more than one organisation, they will have the option to switch between the orgs:

The partner can also see closed deals and switch to list view of the workflow:

If the partner is added to more than one workflow, they can use the top right drop down field (next to the 'Add new deal' button) to navigate through their workflows.


Partner Portal Settings

Partners can also make changes to some account settings.

Under Settings > My account tab, they can edit their name, country and phone number.

Please note that partner account email address cannot be changed. If the partner requests this change, broker needs to create a new account for them with the new email address.

My password and security tab is where the partner can change their partner portal login password.

The last tab in their settings will be the Updates and reminders tab. Here the partner can choose to be informed on the deal progress, new notes or new files that are shared with the partner, via email or SMS.

Please note that for the partner to have this option available, broker needs to first activate it in their organisation Settings > Partner Portal tab.

Also note, that if SMS option is activated, this will use broker's organisation SMS credits.
