A new Salestrekker 2.0 feature, from 14 September 2026, offers automated reading of ID documents in the 'Personal document' section of client profile.
Currently, only ID documents can be scanned and information inputed into the client profile:
Driver licence
Passport
Medicare card (AU only)
Step 1: Upload document
Document can be uploaded via normal files section, Client Portal or via upload button in the Personal document section of the client profile. It is important that document is labeled appropriately (Driver licence, Passport or Medicare label).
Step 2: Review & Import
Once document is rendered (this can take a few seconds), click on 'Preview file' button and review scanned information
Correct any errors prior to clicking on the import button.
Step 3: Import Scanned Data
Click on the import, then save the page and repeat for other documents. Imported data will look like this (in case of the Driver licence):
Depending on document, we might map the following fields:
Driver licence number (from d/l)
Driver licence card number (from d/l)
Driver licence name on document (from d/l)
Driver licence state of issue (from d/l)
Driver licence expiry date (from d/l)
Passport number (from passport)
Passport name on document (from passport)
Passport issue country (from passport)
Passport issue date (from passport)
Passport expiry date (from passport)
Medicare number (from medicare card)
Medicare reference number (from medicare card)
Medicare name on card (from medicare card)
Medicare card colour (from medicare card)
Medicare expiry date (from medicare card)
Middle name (from passport)
Date of birth (from passport)
Citizenship of (from passport)
Residency status (from passport)
City of birth (from passport)
Note, badly scanned, small or very large documents may not be able to be scanned using our OCR technology.
