Equifax Verification Exchange Integration

Overview

The Equifax Verification Exchange integration allows brokers to verify a client's employment and income information directly from within a deal. Information returned by Equifax is displayed in the client profile and clearly marked as Verified.

Before you begin

  • The Equifax Verification Exchange integration must first be allowed and activated for your organisation by the aggregator at enterprise level.

How to run an Equifax Verification Exchange query

Open the deal and select the contact

Open the relevant deal and select the contact whose employment and income details you want to verify.

Navigate to the contact's Employment section. Once the integration is active, the Equifax Verification Exchange option will be available from this section.

Start the verification request

Select Verify. A confirmation message will appear before the request is submitted. Review the message and confirm that you want to proceed.

Wait for the results

The Verification Exchange request may take several seconds to complete, and the results may not appear immediately after submission.

If the information has not updated after several seconds:

  • Refresh the page.

  • Navigate to another deal tab, then return to the client profile.

Reviewing the verification results

Verified employment information

Once the request completes successfully, employment information returned by Equifax is displayed in the client's Employment section. Information retrieved through Verification Exchange is clearly marked as Verified.

This makes it easy to distinguish information returned by Equifax from employment details entered manually.

Verified income information

The client's Income section is also updated with relevant income information returned through the integration. Income records returned by Equifax are clearly identified as Verified.

Depending on the information available for the client, one or more income records may be returned.

What information may be updated?

Where information is available through Equifax Verification Exchange, the integration may update:

  • Employment details

  • Employer information

  • Income details

  • Verified employment status

  • Verified income records

The information returned depends on the data available for the individual client.
