How to set up
Navigate to Settings > 3rd party integrations tab.
Next to MailChimp, turn on the toggle switch.
Enter your Client ID, Client Secret and Server ID details.
To confirm activation, click 'Save' button.
Obtaining Client ID, Client Secret, and Server ID
Step 1: Log in to Mailchimp
Go to Mailchimp.com and log in with your account credentials
Step 2: Navigate to Registered Apps
Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
Go to Account > Extras > Registered Apps.
If you don’t have an app yet, you’ll need to register one to get a Client ID and Client Secret.
Step 3: Register a New App
Click 'Register an App'.
Fill in the required details:
App Name - e.g: Salestrekker v2
App Website URL - e.g: www.salestrekker.com
Redirect URL (where users are sent after authorising): https://YOUR_SALESTREKKER.v2.salestrekker.com/settings/3rd-party-integrations
Submit the form.
Please verify the URL in the top address bar to confirm your Salestrekker version link.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR SALESTREKKER URL MIGHT BE DIFFERENT FROM THE EXAMPLE PROVIDED BELOW:
Step 4: Locate Client ID and Client Secret
After registering the app, Mailchimp will display:
Client ID - unique identifier for your app.
Client Secret - password-like key for OAuth authentication.
Store both securely (e.g., in a password manager).
I M P O R T A N T
Copy the Client Secret immediately; MailChimp will not display it again.
⚠️ If you lost your Client Secret, you must rotate it (generate a new one) as it cannot be revealed.
Step 5: Identify Server ID
From your Mailchimp URL - EXAMPLE: https://us19.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/ - in this example, us19 is the Server ID
