Task View is the task content page.
To access Task View, simply click on a task from any deal tasks, contact tasks, or main Tasks page.
Change Task
To change the details of a task in Task View, simply access the dropdown menu by clicking the 'Change Task' tab located on the left sidebar of Task View.
You can choose between two options for changing task details:
Edit
Add/Remove labels
The sidebar will always be auto expanded by default. If you want to collapse the sidebar, click the 'hamburger' icon.
Task View Tabs
Overview
When viewing a task, the Overview tab will automatically be shown as the first tab in the Task View.
This tab displays an overview of the essential information regarding the tasks:
Assigned to (Individuals assigned to the task)
Task information (task name, due date and time, priority and progress)
Assigned to (deal or contact)
Task comments
Labels
Subtasks
Latest notes and
Latest files
Notes
The Notes tab is the next in row and it is used to show all of your task notes.
By default, all notes listed will be collapsed. To view their content, simply toggle the expand button.
Files
The Files tab is used to store all of your task files.
Quick Actions
The Quick Actions button offers the following options:
Add note
Add subtask
Upload files
Email to Notes
Salestrekker 2.0 now offers improved task features, including the ability to forward external emails to the Task Notes section.
Users can access the 'Copy email to notes' option in the Task View by clicking on the tab located in the left side menu. They can then paste the address into the 'To' field of their email application to send the email to the task notes.
Emails can only be forwarded from the email address associated with the user's account.
