Activating In-app Notifications

To stay informed about the progress of your work, you can enable In-app notifications in your account settings.

This feature will send notifications for any desired changes directly to your account and you can view them while you are logged in.

Using In-app Notifications

Accessing Notification Center

You can access these notifications in the Notification Center.

To open it and view all messages, go to the 'bell icon' located at the top bar.

Here you will first see all unread messages about the most recent deal, task, notes, files and/or client portal changes (depending on your notification selections in settings).

Clicking on the blue hyperlinked text within the message will take you directly to the corresponding item (such as a deal, task, workflow or other).

In the below example, if we click on the 'CP Testino #1', it will take us to that deal.

Or if we click the 'Lilly's WF' workflow, it will open the page of that workflow.

If you would like to expand the notifications window, you can do so by clicking the 'expand' icon.

example of fully expanded window:

User Mentions

You will also see messages (deal/task note) in which another user has used the '@' symbol to tag or mention you.

To tag someone in a note, type the '@' symbol followed by the first few letters of the user's first name you want to mention (1). In the drop-down, select the user you wish the tag to apply to (2).

Expanding Messages

Clicking the little arrow icon next to each message will expand the message and show more details.

Mark as 'Read'

There are two ways you can mark multiple messages as 'Read':

A - use the 'Mark all as read' - this will change all 'unread' messages to 'read'

B - select which messages you want to change to 'read' and click the top bell icon

View all 'Read' Notifications

You can still view all received notifications that have been read under the 'Read' section.

From there, if needed, you can change them back to being unread.
