How to setup my Salestrekker 2.0 account? How to change my password? How to configure updates and reminders and adjust user interface.

Set up your individual user account by uploading your photo, entering your personal and contact details and adding your email signature to Salestrekker.

All new users need to set up their account in order to get Salestrekker 2.0 functioning properly.


My Account

Account Details

Contains title, first and last name fields.

Contact Details

Mobile phone number prefix can be searched and selected in the drop down menu.

Mobile phone number should be entered without space between digits and starting with "0" (e.g. 0412345678).

You can add more contact options via the "Add new details" button, such as:

  • Personal or work email

  • Fax

  • Home, Mobile or Work phone

  • Website

Account Photo

For a better collaboration with your team and your clients, upload a photo to your account.

To add your photo, go to Settings > Account > My account. Then, in Account Details section click on the circle with your initials. In the following popup window you can either drag and drop or browse for your photo from your device.

Account Address

Best practice is to try and search your address via the first search field and select it from the drop down results list.

If the address cannot be found via search, please enter the full address manually, simply by clicking 'Edit address' (pen icon).

In the following popup window there is a possibility to enter three different address types:

  • Standard

  • Non-standard or

  • PO box

With the "Add new address" button, you can add additional addresses, such as:

  • Current

  • Mailing

  • PO box

Note that you can only have one Current address added to your account details.

E-mail details

Under this section, you can create an email signature for all emails you send via Salestrekker.


My Personalisation

You can easily personalise the look and feel of your workflow board.

This is done from Settings > My Personalisation tab.

Board user interface

Options presented here influence the look of your deal tiles.

You can choose to show the following on the deal card:

  • Deal owner, client and/or partner client images

  • Deal value

  • Finance due date or Settlement date (only one can be picked)

  • Deal labels

  • Chosen lender

  • Deal status

User interface

Enabling Dark Mode is a breeze. Simply navigate to User interface section and toggle the Dark Mode switch.

You can switch between Dark Mode and the traditional Light Mode at any time to suit your preference.

My updates and reminders

To set up reminders in Salestrekker for your account, go to Settings > Account > My updates and reminders.

Global Notification Settings

There are multiple options for you to control when and what you want to be updated on. Just turn on the toggle button for the notification option you want.

Example of updates would be: team member leaves a note in your deal; client uploads a document via Client Portal; partner (referrer) logs in to their portal for the first time.

Examples of reminders would be: your finance due date is reached; your task is due tomorrow; deal becomes stale; etc.

Email each event

This means that an email regarding the selected change in Salestrekker will be immediately sent to your registered email address. You will be notified in real-time as events occur.

Email summary

You receive a daily email with a summary of all activities that have happened the previous day. This way you can keep track of lesser priorities and changes that don’t require your full or immediate attention.

SMS each event

This means that you will instantly get an SMS for each relevant change that takes place in Salestrekker. Messages sent for this event use SMS credits from your organisation Billings page and are delivered to your account mobile number.

In-app event

This will send notifications directly in your Salestrekker account's Notification center.


My password and security

Change Password

If you would like to change your current password, please go to Settings > My Password and Security tab.

In the "Current password" box, enter the password currently being used to log in.

Then, enter a new password that follows the guidelines provided on the same page.

Lastly, click the "Change password" button to confirm.

You will receive an email confirming that your password has been successfully changed.

If you did not follow the password policy or made a mistake in the "Current password" box, you will not be able update your password (the button for change confirmation will be locked).
